David Webb - Agent Provocateur
A
storied run during his radio career has led David through
Boston, New York City, Houston and Dallas, and landed him at
great stations like
WILD-AM,
WHTZ-FM/Z100,
KZFX-FM,
KLOL-FM,
KKTL-FM (Houston’s first FM Talker) and
KRLD-AM
(flagship for USA@Nite).
Never one to limit himself, David made the jump to talk, local
and syndicated while in Houston, and then as the Host of “USA@Nite”
on the
USA Radio Network.
He spent some of his time in Dallas as a Decennial Manager for
the
US Bureau of the Census,
responsible for an 8-city region and then various survey
projects in TX, LA and MS. He has been
recognized for his work by then-Director, Kenneth Prewitt. David has
also ventured into the print world with
Worcester Magazine and the
Worcester Telegram & Gazette.
A constant theme in his life has been David’s commitment to
community through organizations like the American Lung
Association, Make A Wish, MADD, NFL Charities and the
Young Marines.
Active in politics on the local and national level he has been
heard on radio as a political pundit. A member of the
Women's National Republican Club, David is a co-chair of the Henrietta Wells Livermore School
of Politics and serves on the Annual Awards Dinner committee. He
also moderates the Q&A sessions for the WNRC’s
American Forum Series. David is a member of, and press
consultant to the
Coalition For A Secure Driver's License and an Executive Producer with
Fox Trail Productions.
David with co-host Mark Mason can be heard filling on for Andrew
Wilkow on

Mark Mason - Anchor and Co-Host
Mark
first found headsets and microphones fascinating as a toddler,
but didn’t really revisit the broadcaster’s urge until he
started doing nights and weekends for his college’s FM station
years ago. Today, he lends an added element of stability to the
Talk That Matters dynamic, with an intelligence
that’s simultaneously offbeat and analytical, and an
authoritative yet disarming delivery cultivated during
late-night jock shifts for the now-defunct Talkline
Broadcasting.
A former stringer and reporter in western New York, Mark is a
News Anchor for
Clear Channel’s
four-station NJ/NY/PA Tristate cluster, who cut his teeth on
Talk Radio while assistant-producing programming for
Sirius Left
(which sometimes felt like working as a double agent, as he’s
considered by those who know him well to be decidedly Reaganite
in his principles). His voice and his writing have been heard
on AM/FM, satellite, and New York metro-area Cable TV, and he
has produced and hosted Real Sports-inspired packages for
Kingpin Broadcasting’s “Gridiron New Jersey” show.
Armed with a degree in Literature, an abiding love of country
and a keen editor’s eye, Mr. Mason draws on years of experience
in corporate America’s healthcare, transportation and retail
sectors. Listen for Mark’s IAAIS “Program of the Year”
Award-winning voice work on satellite-fed affiliates of
National Public Radio
across the heartland, serving the blind and elderly through the
New York Guild for the Blind.
He finished his most recent half-Marathon (13.1 miles) in an
hour and 49 minutes, and he still does most of his own stunts!
